Colleges Against Cancer President
Another way to think about the Colleges Against Cancer President would be the logistics coordinator or higher-level liaison to the University. In this position, you have to be comfortable and confident interacting with vendors and companies to seek sponsors for the Relay for Life. Without sponsors, Relay for Life would not be possible.

Fundraising Coordinator
This chairperson must be enthusiastic about programming events on campus and for the teams participating in Relay for Life, since the main point of Relay for Life is to raise as much money as possible for the American Cancer Society.
Strong Characteristics to Possess: An understanding of how to program events on Roosevelt’s Campus, excited about planning events, setting Goals, building relationships with Relay for Life participant teams and other persons involved with Relay for Life
Community Outreach Chair
This person is responsible for getting participants to sign up for teams during Relay for Life. This includes faculty and staff teams as well as student teams and student organization teams.
Strong Characteristics to Possess: Communication, building relationships with the team leads, distribution of all important information, events, and messages about Relay for Life to these teams and participants, delegation of various targets to different team members.
Luminaria Chair
This person is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the Luminaria ceremony during Relay for Life, during which individuals that have lost their life to cancer are recognized.
Strong Characteristics to Possess: Being comfortable executing a sensitive ceremony, creating a detailed schedule and script for the ceremony, professional persona and comfortable speaking in front of large groups
Entertainment and Activities Chair
This person is responsible for recruiting, contacting, and being the liason for all entertainment providers and acts for Relay for Life. They are also in charge of coming up with a schedule of activities for participants to do during Relay for Life such as themed laps, activities, games, raffles, etc.
Strong Characteristics to Possess: Organization, creativity, communication, outreach, knowledge of programming events at Roosevelt University
